Once Sigmento had been acquired, we upgraded our internal software, originally built by the R&D team.
The product analyzes the users’ actions and controls the shown data in the UI.
The challenge
* The product is very complex and intended for different technical personas.
* There is a lot of data to present.
* The current product was built and designed by developers, without any consideration of UX.
The solution
Research
* At first we defined who are our main user types, their needs and their daily actions. Then, we organized all the actions to several main features.
Wireframes
* For each feature we decided what information is the most important to show. Rest of the information was designed to be shown in hidden tools (menus, pop-ups, tooltips etc.)
* We found creative ways to visualize the different data, so the screen will have clean and clear view but also will be fun and interesting to use.
